“Every aspect of your life, where you lived, where you moved, what school you go to now, plays a part in the way you view what happened. I personally did not lose my home, but I also faced the loss of my school, which was difficult. I felt it was more important to prioritize my friends who lost their homes than focus on a temporary learning environment.”
